Tuition Fees & Scholarships (2011 /2012)
For students from Bulgaria
- 15 Bulgarian students with best application dossiers are subsidized by the state and pay a semester fee of 173 BGN.
- For students at their own expenses the tuition fee is 800 BGN per semester.
For students from Romania
- The tuition fee is 1800 RON per semester.
For students from other EU member states
- The tuition fee is about 400 EUR per semester.
For students from Non-EU countries
- The tuition fee is 1500 EUR per semester.
Accommodation is offered to all students at the hostels of University of Ruse. The monthly accommodation costs vary from 15 EUR to 30 EUR.
The Health Insurance is approximately 50 EUR per year. It guarantees health care by a general practitioner and a specialist.
D-Visa is to be delivered at Bulgarian embassies. It is obligatory for the provision of long stay permits for all international students. According to the Agreement for Cooperation and Mutual Assistance Regarding the Development of the Bulgarian-Romanian Interuniversity Europe Center - BRIE between the Government of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Government of Romania BRIE students are exempt from paying for the D-Visa and the residence permit (except for an adminstrative fee of up to 4 EUR). All students should have their passports valid at least till the end of their studies in the programme.
Scholarships for the third semester in Germany are provided for Bulgarian and Romanian students by the Erasmus programme of the EU.
