BRIE co-organizes a Bulgarian-Romanian forum, which discusses the Bulgarian presidency of the Council of the EU |

BRIE and Kaneff Centre were co-organizers of a Bulgarian-Romanian forum ""10 Years EU Membership: Future Prospects". The forum took place in Kaneff Centre on 20th of October 2017. Among the doscussed topics was the preparation of Bulgaria for the presidency of the Coucil of the EU, along with the basci challenges which the EU will be facing in this period: is the Bulgarian state administration prepared for this task, and what are the political priorities of Bulgaria and Romania for the next decade, Among the participants in the forum were the members of European Parliament Georgi Pirinski and Andrey Novakov from Bulgaria, as well as Maria Grapini and Victor Bostinaru from Romania. In the forum took part some representatives of national institutions, among them - the state secretary of the Ministry of Fooreign Affairs of Romania Melania-Gabriela Ciot, Cristian Parvulescu - member of the European Economic and Social Committee. The BRIE director Assoc. Prof. M. Kornazheva took part in the forum as an expert on European integration.
