Students receive in-depth knowledge in fundamental, general technical and special disciplines such as Higher Mathematics; Physics; Programming; Electrical Engineering; Electronics; Technical Mechanic; Electrical Measurements; Pulse and Analog Circuitry; Electromechanical Systems; Signal and Data Processing; Management Theory; Microprocessor Technology; Measurement of Non-electrical Quantities; Technical means for Automation; Control of Electromechanical Systems; Automation of Technological Processes; Identification of Systems; Programmable Logic Controllers; Computer Control Systems; Industrial Networks in Computer Control Systems; Designing Systems for the Management of Technological Objects; Distributed Measurement Systems; Intelligent Sensors and Systems; Image Recognition; Computer Modeling and Optimization of Systems; Digital Signal and Data Processing; Technological Process Management Systems; Optimal and Adaptive Systems; CAD systems; Mechatronic Systems; Management of Mechatronic Systems and other current disciplines in the field of Automation, Mechatronics and Process Automation.

Students from the "Computer Management and Automation" major have the opportunity to actively participate in the research activities carried out by the department and thus acquire additional knowledge and skills in specific areas.

Teachers from the department and students actively participate in various international educational and research programs such as "Erasmus+", "Horizon Europe 2021-2027" and the Framework Programs of the European Community. Within the educational programs, students can study at various leading universities in Europe. Students of the specialty can obtain specialization in two main areas:

  • Computer management and automation of technological processes;
  • • Management of Mechatronic Systems.

Students trained in the "Computer Control and Automation" specialty receive in-depth knowledge and acquire a wide range of professional skills in the field of automation, mechatronics, information and control systems. After successful graduation, they can work in various branches of industry, energy, communications, transport, agriculture, as well as in various engineering, research and scientific units.
