    As a result of the scientific work carried out in the department and with the participation of colleagues from the department, a number of new machines were created, some of which were in regular production: seeder for direct seeding SDD-8; combined machine for sub-layer sowing MKPS-2.8; a family of compact seed drills for precision seeding; range of corn cobs RC-1, RCN-4, RCU-15 and RCU-30; coarse fodder shredder RGF-3.6 "Strandja"; family of feed grinders and shredders for small, medium and large farmers RGF-5; RGF-2U; FU-330A; semi-mounted universal combine harvester US-101; thresher for ripe beans VZF; machine for threshing and cleaning vegetable seeds; automated system for registration and processing of experimental data; machines for anti-erosion soil treatment; for irrigation of agricultural crops, etc.
    The department maintains business and creative contacts with related institutes and companies in the country and abroad.

    With the available material base, the information provision of the study disciplines and its personnel potential, the department of Agricultural Machinery meets modern requirements and conducts a high-level educational process.
